A steady state heat transfer analysis computes steady state
temperatures based on model geometry, material properties, and long term
ambient thermal boundary conditions. Thermal boundary conditions can include
applied temperatures, as well as ambient radiation, and natural or forced
convection coefficients. Temperature dependent material properties are used
for these analyses. Sometimes linear analysis results will indicate the need
to do a nonlinear analysis.
